A group of friendly people who enjoy a laugh despite their respiratory conditions. A helpful organisation especially for those recently diagnosed with a lung related illness, their families and carers.

LungNet Southern Highlands answers the needs of the sufferers and their families/carers. The meetings whilst informal, are informative with interesting guest speakers from many organisations whose informtion can be helpful to COPD sufferers. Meetings usually commence with morning tea which gets everyone in the mood for the meeting.

The members of this group are quite inspiring, one of whom has had a double lung transplant which has given her a new lease on life. The meetings are sometimes followed by a picnic, or luncheon and the fellowship continues. It is comforting to be able to mix with people suffering similar conditions and share their experiences.
