Naturopath:
As a Naturopath I have several modalities to offer you – depending on your presenting circumstances e.g. we traditionally use a combination of organic (i.e pesticide free) Herbal medicines grown and manufactured by me in the Souther n Highlands, Homoeopathic medicines, 'practitioner only' nutritional supplements, body work (Bowen technique), Iridology, a blood test and hair analysis are all available. I have been a Naturopath for 20 years, 13 in the Southern Highlands.
Herbal Medicine:
The herbs I use come from the Southern Highlands, grown on a certified organic farm, a biodynamic farm and some are picked from the wilds of the Southern Highlands (wildcrafting). I pick, make and administer the herbs tailored to you and your needs.
Hypnosis/NLP (Neuro linguistic programming):
Hypnosis is about the relationship with your unconscious mind, learning how it works and respectfully using the unconscious to gain the changes you want, be they behavioural i.e. weight loss, smoking, stress management or other areas in your life you would like to change. (a free relaxation CD/tape is given with the first session).
Yoga Classes:
Steve Harris teaches a yoga class at 9.30 to 11 a.m. every Monday morning (during school terms) at Looseby Park Youth Centre, Park Street, Bowral. It is a well balanced class of postures, meditation and relaxation that is adjusted as much as possible to suit each individual. Steve has been teaching this class in Bowral for 13 years.
