Mittagong Public School
Mittagong Public School was established in 1865. It is part of the NSW Department of Education and Training public school system. The school caters from Kindergarten to Year 6. All public schools enrol students from their local enrolment zones.The Mittagong Public School local enrolment area includes Mittagong, Welby, Balaclava, Braemar, Willow Vale and the rural area to the west of Mittagong beyond High Range.
Mittagong Public School currently has around 375 students and offers small class sizes in Kindergarten Year 1 and Year 2.
New enrolments are always welcome.The school conducts a four week orientation program each year in Term 4 for students entering Kindergarten in the folowing year.

Mittagong Public School's P&C are organising another Spring Fair for Saturday 26 September 2009 from 10am to 4pm. Remember the fun you had as a child at fetes and fairs? Well we aim to create a lot of memories for our students with rides, fun activities and plenty of great stalls and entertainment. For more info call the school on 4871 1020. Mittagong public school has recently held a spring fair and it has brought around a great sense of community to the town,i was present at the fair and had a great day.The school has great grounds and the gardens are well keep.
