Mossy High gave me a chance in life to succeed, I would like to thank all of my teachers who helped me get to Uni. This is a wonderful school.
who cares abt 1984
Posted by Anonymous User at Saturday 16 July 2011
omg who cares about 1984, this is 2011,kids as young as 10 carry knives and people get shot at nearly every week in the 'burbs of syd.just cause your an hours drive from a capital city doesn't mean the youth culture of voilence can't reach your children.school bulling has gotten way worse in the last 30 years and if you had been brought forward in time from 1984 to be at school now...omg parents don't have a clue how hard it is. Having said the above MV is no worse than average, which 2day means you have 2be carefull cause nobody can protect you if you haven't got a gang of voilent friends
Mossy high is good

Although i find school boring and i would rather be elsewhere. If i had to be in any other school in the southern highlands i would be finding it even harder. Mossy is friendly with mostly good teachers. The only reason people get picked on there is if they bring it on their self. People should stop drawing attention to themselves and just get on with their education.
Mossy High the Best

Your web site has a policy of 'no hearsay' yet you so blithely publish anonymous reviews. Mossy High is the best, it is friendly and offers a fantastic education for my children. I cannot be happier!
Must have changed...

I was sorry to read the negative anonymous reviews, I attended MVHS for 6 years until 1983 and of the 3 of the 5 children in my family who attended it, one is a surgeon, one a barrister and one a high school teacher. Although not terribly academic back then, it was friendly and did not have the drug and suicide problems of the other local schools, probably because we had no money to spend! I recall very fondly a number of teachers who went above & beyond to encourage me, despite my sometimes bad behaviour. I am still friends with my best friend from school. As a firm believer in an inclusive, public comprehensive education, my children attend a public primary school and will also be attending a public high school.

This school have tortured me for life i have been harassed since year 7 im now in year 9 and cant wait to leave i think moss vale high is the worst school thats why i am on this website looking for a new school, Moss Vale High School has a really bad education system i dont like getting up in the morning and thinking " i have to go to school today" because it upsets me the fact that i cant get an education because im too worried about lunch or recess because of the amount of people that threaten to bash me. I try my hardest to put my mind to my work and it just isnt enough. The past 2 and a half years i have never felt so depressed and hurt..

Trying to find a good school for my own children is a difficult task. I went to Moss Vale High School, and I regard it as one of the best, and my children have been to a few High Schools. The structure of lessons, the subjects and activities on offer and the teachers at the school made it a great experience.
I believe that every child has a right to a free education, that is why I will only ever send my children to a Public School... If you attended Moss Vale High School I believe that you will agree that the years spent their were amongst the best you will have ever had. And if you are contemplating sending your children their you can be rest assured that they are getting a great education.
This is my old high school
