Just thought I would mention here that this is a 'clothing optional' retreat...not for everyone. I for one got a shock.

This is the most remarkable place to come to when you need to recharge the batteries. I have been coming to River Island since 1998. A great place to make new friends and to introduce new faces to a lifestyle that is more relaxing than going to a club. River Island will always be a special place to me for many reason. Too many to list here. Just one trip to this beautiful place and you will never want to leave.

I have been 'escaping', from Sydney, to River Island Nature Retreat for at least 14 or so years now, every so often. Neat and tidy accommodation but it's the setting that attracts me so much. I often tell about wandering along the Wollondilly. I love taking long walks there and sitting on the rocks, in the river. There are events that are organised regularly for the guests.
