My friend and I arrived in Moss Vale with no prior accommodation booked. We were issued the one remaining room a Dormie House with little fuss and fabulous service. Our room overlooked the golf course, service was wonderful, rooms clean, beds comfy and could not fault the place. A lovely roaring fire in the living room and full of old worldy charm. We would definitely go back tomorrow. Loved it!!!

Never again!

All I can say is don't stay in any of the rooms on the ground floor unless you like to hear the sound of a heard of elephants above you! My God, i couldn't believe the noise coming from upstairs, I thought they were going to come through the roof! The windows and light fittings were rattling! You could even hear them going to the toilet! I understand that this is an old house but I would have liked to be pre-warned about the noise from upstairs. I bought my elderly Mother here thinking it would nice and peaceful for her and she was kept up all night with the bangs of doors opening and closing, loud footsteps and muffled voices! The rooms were clean and neat but the bed was rock hard and so were the pillows. Definitly won't be coming back!

My friend drove down from Sydney and I drove up from Canberra to stay at Dormie House on the 10th June 2009. We are returning again next week for another few hours of rest and relaxation and value for money.

We leave our families at home and catch up with a bottle of wine, good 4 course dinner, comfortable beds and wake up next morning to a buffet breakfast and then a walk around the golf course and on to shop at various villages. We paid $130 each and I would recommend it to those that want value for money with good home cooked food and friendly staff.
