Spent two nights at Bundanoon over the weekend. The price would have been reasonable if it were not per person (it doesn't make a difference with one or two....an archaic system that 5 star hotels dont even use anymore!). My booking had been changed without my permisson so I had to make a fuss to get what I asked for (which was a double with an ensuite instead of a single with just a hand basin).The rooms are cosy enough but are in desparate need of an upgrade. The beds are awful and small. The food was excellent though, if not a little overpriced, except for the breakfast which was pretty under par. The service however is wonderful and friendly. The place has a nice atmosphere and sitting by the fireplace with a port after a game of billiards is a nice treat.

Have just spent a pleasant weekend at Bundanoon Hotel and was pleased with the accommodation but that's where the pleasant experience ends. The Christmas in july dinner was most unsatisfactory. The entire meal that I received was lukewarm, the soup average (out of a can?) The pork/whatever was tasteless (Processed?) and the pudding nothing like a good oldfashioned christmas pudding. The 10 foot AGA stove in your advertisement must be able to produce better food than this. Others in my group also agree with my judgement. Luckily I "filled" up next day with a very nice breakfast from your kitchen.

I just spent a wonderful birthday weekend at Bundanoon Hotel, the food was great, the rooms adequate and clean. The staff very friendly and the atmosphere was wonderful. I had a great time, the proximity to all the Southern Highlands attractions was great. I recommend it.
