I never complain about anything, however, I am nothing but disgusted with our stay. We arrived there and the owner was nothing but a bitter rude person! He made it so difficult for us to enjoy our stay. We all said we felt like we were on a school camp again. He was constantly patrolling, watching what we were doing and being rude. I have never met or dealt with such a rude person. We too, were abused about being 5 minutes late as there was traffic. We had other people coming, as they had a change of plans with their jobs, they were a little late and the owner made us pay for them otherwise he was going to give the room away. We thought he couldn't get much worse.
We then wake in the morning to him yelling at us telling us to "hurry up and leave his property" as he had to make up the rooms for the next people (this was at 9:45 and check out was at 10).
Then the next day I see he has taken out $145 out of my account, I rang to ask why and he said "because the rooms smelt of alcohol" however we had no alcohol in the rooms. I have never been more disgusted, there was 10 of us that stayed and will never go back!

I recently stayed at the Bong Bong Motel with my whole family and loved the newly painted rooms with clean ensuite bathrooms, fresh linen, lovely soft towels, fresh smelling rooms, wonderful service and very comfortable beds. Thanks for the great night's sleep. We will see you again soon, hopefully.

Listed as 24 hour check-in. Called at 11pm and got told to meet at reception in 10 minutes. Owner spent 15 minutes complaining about it not being 24 hour reception, that he didn't have internet access to change it from 24 hours and how much he hated people calling late. I was a hairs breadth from telling him to stick his room but realised there was no where else in town and there was too much mist on the road to continue on to goulburn. He gladly took our $120 and gave us a double room.
The place reeked of cigarettes even though it had no smoking signs everywhere. The bedding felt greasy so we bought our own in. The bed itself had a few busted springs and rolled around the floor whenever you got on it. In hindsight I would have had as comfortable nights sleep in the front seat of my car.
Do yourself and favour and just keep driving to goulburn or wollongong. Easily the worse motel I have stayed in.

Turned up at 7:30pm with my pregant partner, only to be told I was 'late' and they had given our room away. What was worse they didn't really give a two hoots - said they had tried to call me and it wasn't their fault. Did nothing to find me alternative accommerdation.

We have had several wonderfully, relaxing stays at the Bong Bong Motel. The area is so beautiful and the owner is a very helpful and friendly person.
I would be happy to recommend this Motel to anyone in the area.
