I had read a review from 2008 that was a bit damning about the owners of this motel but decided to give it a go anyway....and I am so glad I did, the owners were very efficent, helpful and obliging...the room was clean spacious and a huge very comfy bed...the bathroom was a delight too walk into and I loved the full size bath...a lovely area outside too sit in (ground floor) and I found it exceptional value for money considering some I have stayed at and I have already started telling people about it. I will be returning to this one for sure :)

I remember my grandparents staying in this motel when I was younger and lived in mittagong. For a motel it was very nice.
However two decades later on ringing to enquire about booking several rooms to take my friends down to the Southern Highlands for a weekend, the lady who aswered quickly responded to my still apparently girlish voice (I'm 25).
The first information she conveyed to me was that no parties were allowed in the rooms and that the place "attracts a certain type of people". I bit my tongue and didn't ask "what type of people?"
I overly politely pushed to carry out the rest of the conversation, however she remained hostile and patronising.
It felt like a "Pretty Woman" moment.
I'm not going to say only go there if you are over 65, but instead say, only go there if you don't have a personlaity.
