Full of charm and quirky character

My husband and I held our wedding and associated activities at Craigieburn in 2005 and we had an absolute ball. Most of our guests stayed at the resort and joined us in Montforts for dinner and breakfast each day. The ceremony was held in the garden, and the photos were taken in various locations around the resort. The venue and grounds are really stunning, and the staff were wonderful. The building has been fully renovated, however the rooms are certainly not 5-star. The food in Montforts was lovely and the atmosphere is very warm. For an affordable weekend away in a beautiful heritage building with basic rooms but stunning views and good food, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Craigieburn.

Me and my partner disagree, we had a great time.. I think we have some liars aboard this site.
By the way beds dont have slats must of have a bad stinky dream.

It is what it is an old country styled resort which is lovely in its own way.

The Main House looks nice from the outside but inside is a mixture of retro and aboriginal. The rooms are apalling. Our room was tiny & didnt even have a phone. The staff are average, working here must be depressing.
