Just returned to Sydney after our breath of fresh air in the Southern Highlands. This property is well cared for and thoughtfully decorated. Lovely animals - hosts were friendly and unobtrusive. All in all a great short break.

Insights into the past at this quaint cottage. Loved the old washer and all the olden day touches. Clean and well maintained, will return soon - with our grandsons next time.

A delightful quaint cottage. The girls adored the animals - especially the egg collecting ritual each morning! We discovered wonderland and the smiling tree too. Breadon has become a bosom buddy and the girls have decided we will be returning .... Best Wishes The Healy Family.
Winter in Bundanoon

We stayed at Morvern the Original House, lovely and warm despite the -7 degree Wintery weather.
The cottage is well appointed and was very convenient having linen provided.
We bought in a delicious pizza from bundanoon Pizza and Pasta, and went to the Bundanoon Hotel for lunch on Sunday. Luckily the markets were on in The Bundanoon Hall on The Sunday bought quiches and homemade gourmet treats to take home.

Chickens were the best - eggs every morning. Ducks and geese were fun to watch wading and swimming in the pond. Generous Breakfast provisions. Great adventure loved reading the history of the property and the photos. Comfortable and warm. Would reccommend to all ++++

Joined up with old friends for a weekend. Bundanoon was a great midway point between Canberra and Sydney for us. Charming country cottage, thoughtfully decorated in a restful quiet spot. Loved the animals. Recommend the Chinese restaurant too!

Easter in the Home Stead was really good. Our three year old enjoyed the miniature pony Fudge and my husband and I enjoyed the relaxation and time out from the hectic city lifestyle. Would recommend A+++++

Loved the crackling Fire and the sociable animals - luckily one of the hens had chicks during our stay. Looking forwards to another stay at Morvern won't wait so long for a weekend away next time....Thoroughly relaxed after our three nights.

Stayed at Morvern and from the moment we arrived we were very happy, lovely handwriten note and a homebaked cake awaited us. Hosts have been very thoughtful, and were unobtrusive, our stay was private, quiet and relaxing which was 'just what the doctor ordered' after a busy stress filled year for my husband and myself.
Romantic open fire and spa was a real treat. Hardly left the property, just spent the time reading and looking out onto the fields from the long verandah. Lovely friendly animals.
Morvern - very enjoyable

Visited Morvern for third time annual stay. Great views - went to Glow Worm Glen and Fairy Bower Falls for a picnic. Recommend to all as a friendly and comfortable bed and breakfast.

Will return to this great Farmstay...

My Husband and I visited this farmstay property to show our two children the animals up close. We were thrilled to arrive late on the Friday night to the beds already made and the fires already set for us, and a delicious homebaked pie.
The kids loved the animals - especially Fudge and feeding the alpacas and chickens. Will return to this great country cottage.
