Southdown Cottage is located in the grounds of historic Southdown - an original Southern Highlands property dating back to 1857.

The Cottage, adjacent to the majestic original homestead, was built in 1864 as a caretaker's residence for the then large property.

I just came back from what I think is my most favourite accommodation spot ever! Southdown Cottage was absolutely beautiful - I could have moved in & stayed there.....overflowing with old-world charm, impeccable style, history, privacy & cosiness. It was the perfect romantic retreat & one that I will recommend to everyone I come into contact with. I will be returning very soon!!
