Magnetite is an ingenious secondary glazing system, which attaches discreetly to the inside of your existing window frame. A small frame is installed around the perimeter of your existing window. The optical grade acrylic panel simply attaches to the Magnetite framework with the use of magnetic strips. This creates an airtight seal around your window similar to the seal around your refrigerator door. The air trapped between your initial window and the Magnetite system acts as your insulation barrier.
The combination of Magnetite's magnetic seal and insulating acrylic panel can reduce heat gain or loss through your window by up to 80%. This same combination can also reduce noise through your existing window by up to 70%.
