AMAZING PIES AND PASTRYS

My husband and I ate in at the PATISSERIE in Berrima today it was amazing they were very busy, with a queue out the door, but we still got friendly service and the palmiers we ate was the best I have very eaten. Great coffee too. We will definitely call in when ever we are driving by. I can't wait to tell my friends how awesome this PATISSERIE is, there is just so much variety. You need to go there you will be spoilt for choice. As they say LIFE'S SHORT EAT DESSSERT FIRST.

I just had the most scrummy pie ever in Berrima at The Gumnut - so things have improved immensely and I can't wait to get one every week on my way past.

Thank you to Gumnut Patisserie for a wonderful 21st cake for our daughter. The chocolate mousse cake was voted by the 80 or so party-goers as the best they have eaten. In the past, Gumnut Patisserie

has made huge 21st cakes, one chocolate mud and one sticky date pudding, for our other two kids. The service and the excellence of Gumnut cooking made our task of catering to hungry hordes a lot easier, particularly as we did not even have to contemplate transporting cakes from Sydney.

My hubby and I have eaten from gumnut twice in the last month and both times the food was horrible. Have they changed the pastry chef or are they using cheaper produce? We used to love the hot food and the pastries but the last two times were terrible. I would even go so far as to say, not worth eating and needed to be thrown out. Soggy, tasteless, burnt.....all the things pastry should not be. YUCK! Please tell me it will get better or I'll never eat another pie ever again.

THIS IS PROBABLY THE BEST PASTISERRIE IN THE SOUTHERN HIGHLAND, AWARD WINNING CAKES AND GOODIES, HIS MOTTO IS "EAT DESSERT FIRST!"

BUT THE OWNER DOES NOT APPEAR TO ENJOY HIS CUSTOMERS AS MUCH AS HIS CUSTOMERS ENJOY HIS SWEET TREATS. THE BASIL FAWLTY OF CAFES, BUT STILL ITS AN AMUSING SOJOURN

Tracy & Vicki Nickl have the most extraordinary energy, talent and dedication to their business. They are the real deal - integrity, hard work and the substance to sustain their competitive edge. The product is sensational, diverse and in a class of its own. I am a regular customer and have tried just about everything in their range - not by myself! I manage to share with friends and guests and those from out of town are amazed that such international quality is available in our little backwater. The Nickls do all this and manage to nurture a young family at the same time. No wonder they manage to inspire apprentices who then go on to their own successful careers. They are making a great contribution to their industry and to the community. Continued success!
