I recently visited the Southern Highlands, and by accident wandered across following the display of baloons, only to find the opening of Hot Canary Gourmet Meats.....My breath was taken away - being a foodie, I knew I was in love ..... Out of area, with no need to purchase meat, but couldn't resist. Travelled back with my parcel of goodies. The meat was as delicious cooked, as it presented in the shop and the service was outstanding. Not often do I visit the Southern Highlands but will certainly be taking an
Esky next time I do.

The well known Hot Canary Gourmet Meats has moved to a new location in Bowral. The Highlands most awarded butcher has moved from Springetts Arcade and is now in its new shop location on the corner of Bowral Street and Station Street opposite the IGA. With a state of the art shop layout boasting a modern industrial design, the Hot Canary is better than ever. Specialising in everything from Dry-aged Beef, free-range and organic meats and value-added products that are leading the way in Australian Meat innovation. The boys also have daily Beef breaking and butchery demonstrations and weekly cooking and sausage making classes. Having recently travelled throughout Australia I had the privelege of meeting a wonderful friendly team at Hot Canary Butchers in Springetts Arcade in Bowral. I am an avid traveller both locally and internationally and Hot Canary, without a doubt, has the best meat in the world!!!!. The steaks just melt in your mouth. Ill recommend a stop there to anyone I encounter.
Well worth a visit!

"The best butcher shop in the Southern Highlands. The Mustard Lamb Rumps are exceptional as are the Lamb Popeye's.... An extremely well presented shop with lovely service".
