Terrible!!

After booking a table at the Surveyor General Bistro and waiting to be served for an hour we eventually went to the cashier and ordered, then after approximately half an hour we enquired as to our order only to be rudely told because we didn't arrive there on time we had to wait. the meals trickled in and our 7 year old was not even served her nuggets and chips at all. Vegetables were dry, off colour and raw, mushroom lasagne was exactly as we were told when asked what was in it, "mushrooms" was the only answer but she was right. Lamb shanks were very average. The room was freezing cold. There were 7 very disappointed hungry diners after we left our very pricey meals half eaten. Poor quality meals, rude service, cold room. Strongly not recommended!!!

My wife,Mother and I went to the bistro at the Surveyor General Inn yesterday 7th april 2010, two of us ordered the special for the day, surf and turf, we were both very disappointed as the steak was very gristly and the chips were hard and over done,the meal was expensive enough so we expected much better.
