wish to volunteer

Posted by Chris Roubis at Sunday 07 November 2010

Because the shelter do an excellent job, unlike RSPCA who only get off their backside when the media is involved, Graphics Australia would like to offer their services to donate a free website, free web hosting, free domain name, to the shelter.

THANKYOU WAS AND PLEASE HELP

Posted by Jellybeene at Monday 23 August 2010

After recently losing a beloved pet, we were looking for a companion for our remaining cat. We searched many pet shops, breeders and websites, but settled on a shelter animal. We knew we wanted to give an orphan a new start, and we stumbled across this shelter in a google search of shelters within 100km from our house. All the reviews were great, so, armed with a donation and much trepidation about seeing decrepit and mistreated animals, we made a visit and were overwhelmed. The team were incredibly welcoming and friendly, they seemed genuinely happy to be there and to see prospective adopters. Our small donation (only about $40 worth of cat food) was welcomed with a giant smile and all the cats were to die for. If we weren't constrained by how many pets we could own, we would have taken them all. They were all so happy and well cared for. It would be a tragedy if the ones we left behind meet the final option. Please help to keep them in a home.

Excellent

I recently donated food and towels to the shelter and was impressed by how clean the facilities were and the dedication of the staff.

I urge anyone who reads this to go to the shelter to offer food for the kittens (they require special kitten food), cats and dogs and any old blankets/towels to keep them warm during the cold winter. Ideally, you would adopt one of their animals if your circumstances allow such a commitment.

I Agree

they definately do a good job and the premises is great for any animal.

I rang today about a hit dog lying on the side of the road near Harvey Norman. They promptly answered the phone and imformed me they would go over there to see the animal.

I know they are always looking for volunteers, so if any people on the council board reading this, I would like to offer my services for free, as a Graphic and Web designer.

I could do your internal or marketing material, create a website for free or even do your signage etc.

Good Job

This is one of the cleanest and best run shelters I've seen. The dogs are kept warm/cool and clean and healthy. Well done.

Shadow

Is it possible to have some info on young shadow the whippet,

I am looking for a buddy for my greyhound Anouk who is three years old, not dominant, very fun loving, and smart. I also have a Gt Dane who is 10, and going blind. I am in WA so that is why I am not ringing. I have a cat 9years old who is a bitchy old thing, and puts dogs straight if they try to get her. I am looking at all stray whippets at the moment, and hope you get this email. Wendy
