stolen gold ?

So bought my now fiance a diamond ring from prouds, go in for the 'free' resizing. Questioned what happens with the excess gold, we were advised they will give it to us when we pick up the ring as they dont melt it back into the band.
Fiance picks up the ring cause im at work.. Now they told her that because they do the ring sizing for cheap, the jeweler actually gets to keep the extra gold.... They flat our refused to give her the gold, she gets angry and walks out and calls me..
Hmm I wonder how they will appreciate me in the morning after a busy 12hr night shift at work finding out at the start of shift they STOLE OUR GOLD !!!!!

After calling up the prouds store to see if they had my item delievered to their shop. A staff memeber had picked up and left me on hold for 15 min talking to her other staff about repairing a watch and asking me to speak up louder when i already feel asif im yelling on the phone! i asked when my order would be avialble as it's taking up 6 weeks already and she rudly said " I DONT KNOW "
it's her job to undertake this task.
never again will i begoing to prouds to order an item, due to this worst customer service over the phone

that was a bad experience for you but what brand was the watch ? i would be warning people off the make as we all know prouds dont make them they just sell them for a company .try ringing the company direct .if they dont honour your complaint make sure you let them know you will never buy that brand again and also warn everyone else about the after sales service of the watch company .if people dont buy them the store wont sell them

We have not had a good experience with prouds. My husband bought me a watch for mothers day last year. Within a week the watch stopped, we thought it was just the battery. We took the watch back to have a new battery put in. they can not do that there so they replaced it with a new watch. A month later the watch stopped so I took it to Burchells to put a new battery in it (at my own expense), 3weeks later the watch stopped again also i took it back and they replaced the battery again. two weeks went buy and it stopped again, ao this time we took it to Prouds where we bought it. They sent it away to have it looked at 3 weeks later we got it back and sure enough a couple of weeks later it stopped again so they sent it away again and sure enough it stopped again. This time we took it back and said we don't want it fixed a gain we want a new one, which we did eventually get. that one did not even last 2 days before it stopped. I never even wore it, so back we go again. After spending 1/2 hour in the store they came up with I can replace the watch with another kind of watch as we did not want that type of watch again. We chose a watch that was $50 more happy to spend the extra money on that watch. I tried it on all was great but when they put it through the computer it came up as a $550 watch. They said that it was a human error .( what a big error to make ) After all the drama with my watch I was heart broken that the watch i had chosen I could not have due their error .
