First the 'fresh food people' isnt the coles motto its woolworths. i work at coles and i also am a customer there people have to remember that yes it is all about customers first but we also dont neccessarly have enough workers to keep our word people call in sick so that means were people down and we need abit of support from our customer some patience we go as fast as we can but then when we do go fast you complain about the way we pack and we dont start a great conversation we have to concenstate surprisingly its actually a challenging job if your in a bad mood you have to be happy if you get to work and your sick your boss doesnt neccessarily send you home so we have to carrying on working sorry on behalf of all coles for not being up to your standards if you dont like our services go somewhere else please.

I find Coles to be hopeless when it comes to price, wait times and less variety of products on the shelves compared to Woolworths.

As for their "Fresh Food people" motto, I'd much rather buy fresh from the local fruit market than from a Store like Coles that keep fruit and Veg in gas filled coolers for months before they end up on the shelves.

I work at coles and i ahve found that we offer helpful, reliable, and speedy service. And we may only have one or two checkout open during the busy hours but we try to serve as many people as we can quickly. To all these people who are complaining about the service, maybe if you were put in our shoes you would see that our job is not all as easy as just serving customers, we have alot of other things we have to do. You just give us all a break and wait pateintl you will be served.

I've waited weeks & weeks for you to have available your Coles no-name skim milk - to no avail. I've even spoken to various Coles personnel - still to no avail. Sick & tired of it - will take my shopping elsewhere

coles was a friendly and inviting place to shop....they were very helpful and the shelves were kept presentable and full. service was no problem

Is it just me or does Coles only ever have one or two checkouts open during the busy hours? You can be waiting there for several minutes just to get a loaf of bread.
