Blue Metal Vineyard
Blue Metal Vineyard wines are made exclusively from the 26 acre vineyard on Hurdle Ridge. It is the highest vineyard in the Southern Highlands at 790 metres above sea level and this combined with rich, free draining soils, makes it an excellent vineyard site.
Our Cellar Door is NOW open.
We are open from 10am to 5pm Thursday to Monday.
By appointment on Tuesday & Wednesday.

Not very hospitable

My Wife and I visited this vinyard over the weekend and found it a very unpleasant expereince.
No welcome as we walked through the cellar door just silence from the man behind the counter giving us the feeling that we shouldn't be there.
No explanation of the wine I was sampling although it was very nice he just barked the name and year of the wine.
They probably produce some great wines but didn't stay around long enough to find out.

Visited the Cellar Door on Saturday June 7th The wines were wonderful and the staff (Chris and Jane) were extremely friendly,helpful and informative about the wines. We will be back again and recomend this cellar door to our friends. Lovely setting, great wines and friendly staff. Excellent!! Five Stars

Recently we visited the Southern Highlands to tour the vineyards. Our friends had told us to go to Blue Metal Vineyards, it was as they suggested a stand out for the wines and the friendliness of the staff.
In particular their knowledge of wines was impressive compared to the other cellar door we visited. Certainly a different experience from the last blogger, one that I certainly cannot confirm, and certainly not what other friends would say after visiting blue metal vineyards.
